How To Build A Marketing List
Predictability is a core element for any business. If you could be sure of your income and expenses every month, you would be able to sleep better at night. One way to ensure a minimum level of income is to build a customer list. Some online marketers claim that they earn, on average, a dollar a month from every subscriber on their list. How do you go about building a marketing list? The simplest method is to us a squeeze page and an autoresponder service. The squeeze page is a simple web page, with a headline, a list of benefits and a form where your visitor can fill in their name and email address. When they click the submit button, the information is automatically added to your database. The database is usually managed by a specialist autoresponder service. You don't have to worry about spam complaints, unsubscribes or deliverability - these issues are all handled by the service. You will need to create a series of messages which are sent out to your subscribers on whatever schedule you decide upon. For example, you may decide to send out a monthly newsletter. You could write 12 issues ahead of time, and the service will send them out every 30 days. You can also send broadcast messages to all your subscribers, to inform them of special events, promotions or industry news. A responsive mailing list is a valuable asset which can ensure that your company's income remains stable over a long period of time. |
